A Life of Selfless Service - The Divine Nature 92.95 KB - How does knowing the nature of our being influence how we live?
I realize now that the journey towards wisdom does not entail the accumulation of knowledge, but rather the eradication of questions. After-all the objective in the acquisition of knowledge is not for its sake alone but to fill the holes brought by questions. The man who can no longer come up with questions is the wisest of all; for he has reached the peak to find a plateau. Many of us in our development reach the top of the peak to find another peak in front of us which we couldn't see from lower down. At such times, we find ourselves asking questions which a level down we were not able to ask by virtue of the experience and knowledge we have gained along the climb. Knowledge is the conglomeration of coherent facts; wisdom the proper application of knowledge. When we know what we live for, we have the facts of life. How we live displays the application of those facts. Do you want to download or read a ebook? It is available in PDF or epub format in the source
